On New Year's Eve, our good friends came in town and we decided to visit Sea World. After all, it was the last day of the year and neither of us had used our free one day admission for being military. This is our second year in a row celebrating New Years with the Rendells and we think we will make it a tradition! We only stayed at the park for about four hours but, in that short amount of time, we crammed in a lot of activities! We tried to pet the dolphins, we toured the aquarium, rode the water ride, saw the Viva show, saw the Shamu show, and visited Shamu's Happy Harbor (for the kiddos). Kyle and I were even lucky enough to get about a 15 minute date when our friends watched Gatlin so we could ride the Steel Eel roller coaster. Thanks guys!
After the Viva show, we ran into one of our friends from the squadron and all of our kids spent about 20 minutes playing on a big hill. That was great for us and helped the kids burn off some energy. After the Shamu show, I saw a few friends of mine that I used to work with at Sea World and was able to catch up with one of them. It was so great to reconnect with her and capped off a wonderful day.

Tongue draggin (like our dogs) after romping with his friends!
Only picture we got of the dolphins in the petting pool
My friend Leslie lounging on a killer whale's tummy. I don't know about you but, I do that everyday! NOT!
Reuniting with my buddy, Jen
